A Waikato company planning to build a $30-million milk powder
plant at Arapuni is holding public meetings this week.
ZOAGN, which was incorporated with the Companies Office in April,
plans to build owner- operator plants to the value of $50m-plus. It
is understood it also has plans for plants in the South Island.
Companies Office records list Cambridge man John Courtney and
Hamilton man Robert Gifford as directors.
The pair said they did not want to comment about their business
plans before a round of public consultation meetings tomorrow and
Thursday at the Arapuni Community Hall.
