Martin's wealth of rail experience A RAIL engineering consultancy has appointed a new managing director and chair man.

Engineering Support Group has brought in Martin Horsman from consultancy firm Penmark to act as managing director.

Mr Horsman, pictured, has worked in various senior railway engineering management roles with a range of companies, including Bombardier Transportation.

As managing director, an important part of his brief is to expand the firm's operations in Europe. He succeeds Dev Anand, now the chairman and chief engineer of ESG and its sister company, Railway Approvals Limited.
