I've always said the Marshall-West Virginia football week is like
a circus.
"Ladies and gentlemen, step right up to the greatest show on
earth, a three-ring circus here for your entertainment."
"I," said new MU athletic director Mike Hamrick, "would be one of
the elephants."
He's certainly lumbered right into the circus.
"It's very interesting, to say the least," Hamrick said with a
laugh.
The ticket requests have been rolling in. ("I had a dozen today,"
said the AD, "and it's not even 3 o'clock. I've been getting calls
from friends I didn't even know were friends.")
Of course, it's all good, as the kids would say. Hamrick is a
Marshall alum, but is looking forward ...
