POMONA - For the past 25 years, people have opened their homes to
show there is beauty in older houses.
Thousands have come during the decades to see some of Pomona's
loveliest homes, to meet their owners and to share ideas. That
strong tradition continues again Sunday when the Pomona Heritage
celebrates its 25th annual historic home tour.
Five gorgeous homes are on the viewing menu, plus a guided tour
of one of the city's newest/oldest attractions - the Fox Theater,
the renovated Art Deco palace downtown.
Kathleen Jones started as a tour docent years ago before taking
on the job of chairing the event. She has been its chairwoman for
