For a city kid, Tony Capla does a mighty fine bovine.

Some of the other contestants he beat at the Wisconsin State Fair's mooing contest this past summer have been hearing and rearing cows on the farm for years. Tony was exposed to them mostly on TV or in movies.

Like a musical prodigy with no formal training, the Milwaukee fourth-grader just sort of picked up the sound.

"I was playing a farm game with my friends on the bus, and I was the cow and I just made it," he said.
