Raising two young children does not leave a lot of time for vanity. It used to be that on most days, Tracy Potrzebowski found herself dressed in what she calls the typical "mom outfit" of jeans, a solid-color T-shirt and ponytail.

By using her ingenuity and sewing skills, she has made skirts, jewelry and accessories to spice up her wardrobe while building a following for her Wauwatosa home-based sewing business.

Potrzebowski has become known as the Zewing Girl, thanks to her daughter Georgia's inability to make the "S" sound when she was 3.

"It came at a time when I was trying to think of names and she said, 'I want to be a zewing girl,' " she explained.
