British government launches new measures to tackle anti-social behavior

LONDON, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Home Secretary Alan Johnson on Tuesday met a group tackling anti- social behavior as the British government announced new measures to deal with the problem.

When meeting residents at Kiln Place Estate, in North London, Brown said dealing with anti-social behavior had to be one of the government's top priorities.

The ministers also announced new powers to crack down on those who breach Anti-Social Behavior Orders (ASBO) and extra help and support for victims.
