Three luxury homes in Dirleton have been designed to perfectly
fit in with the upmarket environment, writes Kirsty McLuckie
The conservation village of Dirleton is one of the prettiest in
East Lothian. Being within easy reach of Edinburgh by road or rail
it is also prime commuter territory, so when a beautiful semi-rural
site was acquired by Hamilton and Kinneil Estate, chief executive
Fraser Niven wanted to make sure that the right type of properties
were built. He says: "It is an elevated site with views to the
Lammermuir Hills, which really required that we got it right."
