1. Walgreens. Dietze Construction, Chantilly. A building permit
application was submitted to build a $3.4 million Walgreens pharmacy
at 7000 Marlboro Pike, District Heights.
2. Church. Calvary Chapel Breath of Life, Upper Marlboro. A
preliminary plan of subdivision was submitted for a 500-seat church
on the north side of Westphalia Road, 800 feet northeast of D'Arcy
Road, Upper Marlboro.
3. Single-family houses and townhouses. Fairland Development,
Bethesda. A preliminary plan was approved for the Fairland Park
Community, which includes 152 lots in a mix of single-family and
townhouse units on the west side of Old Gunpowder Road, north of Van
Dusen Road, Beltsville.
