DAYTON -- Cox Media Group Inc. is considering whether to move
operations of its Dayton television and radio broadcast stations
into the Cox Ohio Publishing Media Center at 1611 S. Main St. to
allow all the Cox-owned properties to work together, according to
Alex Taylor, the group vice president who oversees the company's
Dayton operations.
"No decisions have been made at this time, but the company is
giving careful consideration to the possibility of such a move,"
Taylor said in a statement he issued Thursday, Oct. 15.
In Dayton, Cox Media Group owns the Dayton Daily News, WHIO
television and four radio stations, WHIO-AM, WHIO-FM, WHKO-FM and
WZLR-FM.
