DAYTON -- The man who wants to be mayor touted his ideas for
improving the city, while the mayor argued that many of the man's
ideas are already being done under her administration.
Mayor Rhine McLin and challenger Gary Leitzell met Wednesday
evening, Oct. 14, at the Cox Ohio Publishing Media Center for the
only public debate of the race that will be decided on Election Day,
Nov. 3.
Leitzell called for consolidating services with other
governments, reaching out to young people, encouraging small
business innovation, and cutting red tape that hinders development.
McLin said the city is progressing in all of those areas and
