DAYTON -- A work and habilitation facility for people with
developmental disabilities is planned for southern Montgomery
County, according to Mark Gerhardstein, superintendent of the county
board of developmental disabilities services.
On Tuesday, Oct. 13, county commissioners authorized negotiations
with the owner of the ESKCO Inc. building at 700 Liberty Lane, West
Carrollton.
The company, which makes branded loose-leaf products such as
binders, is planning to move to a smaller facility in an
undetermined community in the county, said Michael Poston, marketing
manager.
ESKCO employs 20 to 25 people.
