Article: JAZZ, WINE & ARTS FESTIVAL WILL STRETCH FUN DOWN MAIN FROM FIFTH STREET TO RIVERFRONT

The 1950s and 1960s may have been Evansville's jazz heydays, when Boots Randolph played "Yakety Sax" in the Blue Bar, but a half- century later, this city still can swing.

From 1 to 9 p.m., some 20 area acts will jive, bop and jam on stages lined up along Main Street between Second and Fifth streets. From 9 to 11 p.m., the party will move onto the Riverfront, with more music and cash bars.

They'll share Main Street from 1 until 9 p.m. with eight Indiana wineries, 16 eateries and 55 visual artists showing and selling drawings, paintings, jewelry, photography, ceramics, sculpture, glass ...
