GUZ - the Giant Utopian Zucchini that recently gave its life to raise money to restore New Harmony's beloved town clock - will lie in state today and Sunday during the Posey County community's annual Kunstfest celebration.

The squash, as long as a whiffle ball bat, was purchased earlier this month on eBay for $510 by a New York City man with local ties.

But that was far less than the $12,000 needed for the restoration of the clock, which has been a fixture above the Ribeyre Gymnasium since 1924.
