One group of El Paso County women will reach out to another
today, encouraging self-sufficiency and, perhaps, changing lives
forever.
Women Helping Women, a half-day event, takes place from 8 am. to
1 p.m. today at the Community Partnership for Child Development
center at 2330 Robinson Street.
It targets those who are new or returning to the workforce as
well as individuals transitioning from Department of Human Services'
cash assistance.
