THIS is the first look at two new health centres in Hull.
The Pounds 2.5m Kingswood Health Centre is now accepting new
patients after it opened yesterday.
Meanwhile, the Pounds 4.5m Bilton Grange Health Centre will be
open to the public early next month.
Kingswood Health Centre is home to the Haxby Group's Kingswood
surgery, which will provide 6,000 GP places for patients over the
next five years.
The GP practice will offer extended opening hours, from 8am to
8pm, Monday to Friday, as well as opening on Saturday mor nings.
Male and female nurses will be based at the centre as well as a
midwife. A diabetic service is expected to be in place from next
month.
