The North Peninsula Food Pantry & Dining Center of Daly City's
annual fundraising dinner and raffle, "Take My Hand," will be held
Oct. 23 at Rene's Fine Dining inside Lucky Chances, located at 1700
Hillside Blvd. in Colma.
"This year we really need the community's help with donations of
food and money, as our number of clients continues to increase,"
said Denise Kelly, the organization's executive director. "We
especially need meals in cans (soup, pork and beans, canned pasta),
peanut butter, canned vegetables, and tuna."
Lucky Chances, Seton Medical Center and Wells Fargo are the
event's major sponsors. CSG Consultants Inc., Cypress Lawn and Daly
City Host Lions Club are supporting ...
