Funds to Help Retrofit 33 Waste Hauling Vehicles in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Department of Environmental Protection Secretary John Hanger announced today that the commonwealth is investing more than $1.2 million through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to upgrade diesel vehicles with emission reduction technology that will improve air quality in the region.
