Staples Center turns 10 years old today, the anniversary of the downtown Los Angeles arena's first public event - a concert by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

The building that cost $407million to construct has packed more than 2,250 events into its first decade. Here, in roughly chronological order, are 10 of its most memorable happenings.
