Instant stimulus: Football. That's the game plan, anyway. Backers
of a proposed NFL stadium in Industry aren't wasting any time
looking for people to help build it.
A group including Covina-based online site Joe Barter, developer
Majestic Realty Co., the office of state Sen. Bob Huff and the Los
Angeles Newspaper Group (which owns this newspaper), have partnered
to put on a jobs expo for the stadium, organizers said.
The event will be Jan. 15 at Pacific Palms Hotel and Conference
Center, 1 Industry Hills Parkway, Industry. The registration fee is
$5 per person to attend one of the two sessions - 9 a.m. or 2 p.m.
The fee also includes parking, two Los Angeles Clippers tickets,
refreshments, ...
