Article: Republican challengers turn up heat Opponents of Kind, Kagen and Obey pull in $100,000-plus each

Washington -- Three Wisconsin Republicans were among just 48 GOP challengers to Democrats in congressional districts nationwide who have raised at least $100,000 for their campaigns so far this year.

Although the incumbents in each of these races have raised significantly more than their challengers, the Republican numbers are still impressive to political analysts who say the statistics show the GOP has a chance of taking back as many as two dozen Democratic seats in the House.
