STAND high above Lake Geneva on a clear day and it won't be the
tax advantages that make you want to move there. Yes, Switzerland
has some impressive fiscal attractions -- and prepare to read more
about them before Britain's new 50 per cent tax rate is introduced
next April -- but the lifestyle has its own appeal.
This is a clean, relaxed and safe country, well connected with
Europe and with views to die for at every turn. The villages above
the lake on the sunny north shore look over Geneva and up to the
jagged Dents du Midi Alpine peaks. Opposite, a 25- minute boat trip
