Musical features puppets for adults
"Avenue Q," the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, comes to
Huntington's Keith-Albee theater for one performance at 8 p.m.
Tuesday.
It is the story of Princeton, a college graduate who comes to New
York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. He discovers that
the only neighborhood in his price range is Avenue Q, where he meets
neighbors like Brian, an out-of-work comedian, and Gary Coleman, the
building's superintendent.
Winner of the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical, "Avenue Q" is
based on the book by Jeff Whitty, and features a cast of people and
puppets who tell the story in a smart, risque and entertaining way.
