What does it feel like to experience zero gravity?

Christopher Grandieri knows, but it's not something he can easily explain.

Instead, the Chesapeake Bay Middle School science teacher points to video footage showing himself floating in the cabin of a modified Boeing 727 alongside 30 other teachers, all in similar states of mid- air suspension.

"It's an amazing feeling. Almost indescribable," said Grandieri, an eighth-grade teacher. "I wasn't really sure what it would be like - maybe like swimming. But it's nothing like swimming."
