About 6,000 pounds of fresh vegetables and fruit will be
delivered from 3 to 7 p.m. tomorrow to the Freetown Village location
of the Boys and Girls Club of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County at
7820 Darrell Henry Court.
The giveaway is being hosted by the club as part of its Tackle
Hunger program.
The produce will be provided by the Maryland Food Bank and will
be given away on a first-come, first-served basis. There should be
enough for about 200 families to receive food.
