SUGARCREEK TWP., Greene County -- Three veterans of Sugarcreek Twp. politics will square off with two newcomers Tuesday, Nov. 3 in the battle for two spots on the township's board of trustees.

The incumbents are board chairman Mike Pittman, 58, a four-year trustee and account executive at printing company EatonForm, and vice chairwoman Nadine Daugherty, 58, an eight-year trustee and office manager for Radiology Physicians Inc.

One of the challengers, Marvin Moeller, is a former Sugarcreek fire chief and current farmer who has long been involved in township politics. Moeller, 53, served as a trustee from 2002-05 and lost trustee elections in 1993, 2005 and 2007.
