Xenia teacher helps set standards
XENIA -- Xenia High School Science Teacher Bill Richey was one of
60 panelists from a nationwide pool of approximately 600 nominees
who helped with the study for setting achievement standards for the
2009-10 National Assessment of Educational Progress in science for
grades 4, 8 and 12, and the ACT.
Panelists were chosen for their contributions to science
instruction and to their communities. They met in San Antonio,
Texas, with staff from ACT Inc. and other experts in science Oct. 7-
11.
