According to Oman News Agency: the Bureau of the International
Coordinating Council of UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere (MAB)
programme announced that the National Gardens Organization,
supervised by the Rural and Marine Regions at the Ministry of
Environment in Spain won Sultan Qaboos prize for Environment
Protection for this year. Yah'ya bin Saud al Sulaimi, Education
Minister and Chairman of Oman National Committee for Education,
Culture and Science raised thanks and appreciation to Sultan Qaboos
bin Said for his continuous care and interest in environment on both
national and international levels as evidence by allocating Sultan
