A New Town flat on three levels with cellar and private garden
has begun a bright new chapter in its history. By Kirsty McLuckie
Nicola Wishart and her husband Jamie were realistic when they
started looking for a New Town home three years ago. She says, "We
knew exactly what we wanted, but we also knew that it was beyond our
means. We had to buy something which needed work."
When they saw the ground, basement and lower basement conversion
at 26 London Street, they realised that it was the perfect property;
it did need extensive upgrading in the from of rewiring and re-
