MADISON Camon Tackett is like a lot of teenagers. The 15-year-
old freshman adores attention and he gets plenty of it, thanks to
his musical ability. Tackett is a trumpeter in Scott High Schools
marching band. I play this horn right here, he said proudly, holding
it in front of his chest. Tackett then put his trumpet to his lips
and played a note to the surprise of the reporter, who later learned
it was a high C. I like attention, he said with an ear-to-ear grin.
Like the football players who take the field before and after him
each week, Tackett shines under the Friday night lights. He hears
the crowd clapping and cheering for the Skyhawks after they finish
