Killbuck shop wants wine carryout
KILLBUCK-- Carryout wine sales at Wines at the Arbor would become
legal if voters pass Issue 15 on the Holmes County ballot.
Wines at the Arbor is a store in downtown Killbuck featuring Ohio
wines, cheeses, chocolates and wine accessories.
The village has an ordinance in place dating back to the 1940s
that forbids carryout wine sales.
"We think this will benefit other businesses that are here," said
store owner Dana Arnold.
The shop is slated to open in December but will not open if Issue
15 does not pass.
The Issue is endorsed by council and the Killbuck Community
Improvement Corp.
