Troy Main Street director leaving

TROY -- Jo Grandel will be leaving next week as executive director of the Troy Main Street downtown revitalization program after four months on the job.

Grandel and Jarrod Harrah, Main Street board president, said she is leaving because she has a job offer that is better for her family and her personal economics.

Grandel said she has agreed to take a corporate marketing job.

A Troy resident for just over a year, Grandel joined the organization in July following the release of former executive director Chuck Fox earlier this year.

Grandel's last day will be Nov. 6. Office assistant Kelly Weaver will be on the job full-time while the board finds a new ...
