Milwaukee Public Museum President Dan Finley -- the guy who told
county supervisors "No" to a pay cut this week -- is California
dreamin'.
His wife, Jenifer, starts a job Monday in San Clemente. The
couple own a condo in Dana Point, a 12-minute commute away. And in
an e-mail to friends and family last week, he said while he plans to
stay in Wisconsin for now, "I suspect though sometime next year I
will get serious about finding a job in So Cal."
He was more coy in a telephone interview, insisting that a move
West was "not in the cards for now."
County supervisors Tuesday asked Finley to give up more pay next
year. But after he voluntarily gave up $15,000 last year and took a
current pay ...
