AN Eglinton man is fast becoming one of the leading exponents in
the World of a new running craze. The K42 adventure marathon is not
just an ordinary marathon; it's an obsession and run over some of
the most hostile terrain on the planet.
Allan Bogle was the winner of the opening race of a brand new K42
International Circuit Series in Gran Canaria last March.
Bogle covered the course which took in some of the most
mountainous territory of the volcanic island in three hours, 46
minutes and 10 seconds.
Two further rounds of the Series followed in South America in
August and earlier this month over the dunes in the Sahara.
