For more than 20 years, according to information provided by
those who know her, MaryEllen O'Connell of Bangor has worked as a
physical therapist in our community and the surrounding area.
Now, Karen Cole reports, the single mother of two "is battling a
brain tumor and lung cancer," and others are doing what they can to
help.
A benefit spaghetti supper for O'Connell will be held 5-7 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 7, at Good Samaritan Agency, 100 Ridgewood Drive off
Stillwater Avenue in Bangor.
Admission is by donation.
