Holding a one-goal lead after two periods in Ithaca, N.Y.,
Harvard's upset bid fell apart as fifth-ranked Cornell busted loose
for four goals to rout the Crimson, 6-3, last night.
Second-period goals by Conor Morrison and Alex Fallstrom gave
Harvard (1-2-0, 1-2-0 ECAC) a 3-2 advantage, but the Big Red (3-0-
0, 2-0-0) put four of their 10 shots in the third past Crimson
goaltender Ryan Carroll. All four goals came within the first 13:29
of the period.
Joe Devin had two scores for Cornell, including the winner. Mike
Devin had one goal and three assists.
Yale 3, Union 3 - Kelly Zajac's second goal gave the host
Dutchmen (3-3-3, 0-0-2 ECAC) a 3-1 lead heading into the final
