Article: Symphony League show puts fashion at center stage

Those attending the 51st West Virginia Symphony League Fashion Show on Tuesday will be contributing to two nonprofit organizations.

First, the annual style show is a main fundraiser for the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra.

Second, this year, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the American Cancer Society to benefit breast cancer awareness.

Dozens of Kanawha Valley residents will showcase outfits from six Charleston stores at the annual event, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Maier Foundation Performance Hall in the Clay Center. A reception in the grand lobby will follow the fashion show.
