Get entries ready for corn show
WOOSTER -- The sixth annual Corn Show and Supper will be held
Saturday at Valley College Grange Hall, state Route 226 south of
Wooster.
Entries for the corn show consist of either 10 ears or one quart
of shelled corn for each variety entered, dropped off at the Grange
Hall from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. There is no entry
fee. Judging will take place on Friday. Last year, there were 18
exhibitors who received a combined total of more than $500 in
premiums, along with door prizes from sponsors. Entries are open to
any area grower.
On Saturday, the corn will be exhibited in the upstairs of the
hall, along with homemade canned goods for sale and other ...
