Article: The pupils who booked their place among the world's record breakers

TO have Harry Potter, James Bond and Little Red Riding Hood in one room at the same time seems a little far fetched.

But this is exactly what happened at a primary school in north Belfast yesterday in a bid to break a world record.

Three hundred people at Carr's Glen Primary School, including pupils, teachers and a few parents swapped uniforms and suits for the costumes of favourite storybook characters to become new world record breakers.

It was one of at least three attempts by thousands of people throughout Northern Ireland to enter the Guinness Book of World Records. The events helped to mark the fifth annual Guinness World Records Day.
