FOUR defeats in four All-Ireland League outings have left Malone second-bottom of Division Two.

And they will have their work cut out if they are to avoid another defeat at the hands of high-flying Thomond, tomorrow's Gibson Park visitors.

The Limerick side are second in the table, three points behind leaders Lansdowne. And Malone coach Jarleth Carey is under no illusions as to the size of the task facing his struggling team.

"At the moment they are all must-win games for us. We're at home, which helps, but in Thomond we're playing a side with their tails up. Regardless of that, though, we've got to get a win," Carey admitted.
