Alice Parker Brown Alice Parker Brown, 99, of the Parole
community in Annapolis, died of natural causes Nov. 6, 2009. Born
Aug. 17, 1910, in Maryland, she was a seamstress at Ft. Meade for
many years. She was a member of Mt. Moriah AME church. She was
preceded in death by her only child, Betty Wallace, in 2006. She is
survived by her granddaughter, Honoria Elwell, of Washington, D.C.
Viewing will be held at 9 a.m., and the memorial service will be
held at 11 a.m., Nov. 13 at Reese and Sons Mortuary, 821 West
Street, Annapolis. Helen Esworthy Helen T. Esworthy, 97, of
Ellicott City, died Nov. 10. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Herman "Buck" Norris Esworthy; and son-in-law, Joseph ...
