Israel and Oklahoma have more in common than many people realize,
according to Dana Kursh, vice consul of the Consulate General of
Israel to the Southwest.
Kursh is touring Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana and
Texas, working to strengthen the ties between Israel and the United
States.
In both Oklahoma and Israel, three of the same industries are
prominent: aeronautics, biotechnology and agriculture. Both economies
benefit when the two groups work together, said Kursh.
In agriculture, for instance, Oklahomans and Israelis can work
together to find solutions for irrigation technology. Israeli
