Wal-Mart Stores on Tuesday announced plans to build a 212,242-
square-foot Supercenter in Del City, marking the largest retail
building ever to be constructed in the city's limits.
Located on 20 acres near Interstate 40 between SE 15th and Sooner
Road, the $10 million Supercenter will be one of Wal-Mart's largest
stores in the state of Oklahoma.
This is a historical moment for the history of the city of Del
City, said Del City Mayor Brian Linley. It's a great shot in the arm
for the entire area.
According to Keith Morris, regional community affairs director for
