The process of selecting a developer to build a $150 million
headquarters hotel for the expanded Oregon Convention Center is
nearing the finish line as the Portland Development Commission
recently received five responses to its Request for Proposals to
develop the hotel.
We are delighted to receive five significant proposals for
development of the headquarters hotel, said PDC Executive Director
Don Mazziotti.
The RFP was issued on Oct. 1, with proposals due back by Dec. 20.
The RFP process required written proposals detailing the financing,
design, construction and operation of a headquarters hotel in close
proximity to the Oregon Convention Center.
