Article: OK House Republicans announce prescription drug plan

State House Republicans on Tuesday introduced a plan to reduce the cost of prescription drugs for Oklahomans that was praised - and partially claimed - by Democrats.

Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives Todd Hiett, R- Kellyville, and Rep. Kris Steele, R-Shawnee, unveiled the Rx for Oklahoma proposal at a press conference Tuesday morning. The program could be put into effect almost immediately, and would cost just under $1 million to implement, said Steele.
