The Altus Main Street Program received the award as the top
program of the year at the Oklahoma Main Street Program's annual
banquet.
Tami Fleak, from Sapulpa, was named the 2005 Main Street Program
Manager of the Year. Oklahoma Gas & Electric Services was received
the Friend of Main Street award.
Other awards included Premier Partner to the City of Ada, Ada Main
Street; Best Community Education/Public Awareness, Perry Main Street;
Best Volunteer Development Program, Main Street Altus; Main Street
Hero, Fred Boettcher, Ponca City Main Street; Best Creative
Fundraising Effort, Ardmore Main Street; Premier Special Event,
Cotton Pickin' Chili Cook-off, Altus Main Street; Best Retail Event, ...
