Baltimore Ravens running back Jamal Lewis will miss Sunday's game
at New England with a sprained right ankle, depriving the Ravens of
one of their key offensive weapons against the defending Super Bowl
champions. It's another challenge for a team that has had eight
starters miss games at various points this season, and the latest
setback for the Pro Bowl running back.
Lewis was injured with about six minutes left in the first quarter
of Sunday's 30-10 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. He left the field
with a slight limp and spent the rest of the game on the sideline, in
full uniform, occasionally cutting and running to test out his ankle.
