BancFirst Corp. has entered into an agreement to acquire First
Bartlesville Bank, officials announced Tuesday.
Financial details of the purchase were not revealed. The
Bartlesville bank has about $44 million in total assets, about $40
million in deposits and $3.7 million in equity capital. BancFirst
Corp. is a financial services holding company whose principal
subsidiary bank, BancFirst, is Oklahoma's largest state-chartered
bank with total assets of $3.4 billion serving 47 communities across
the state.
BancFirst officials said the acquired bank will operate as First
Bartlesville Bank until it is fully merged into the BancFirst system,
