Article: Tulsa City Council considers main street program

Representatives from the Oklahoma Main Street Center met Tuesday with the Tulsa City Council to discuss Tulsa's possible participation in the Oklahoma Main Street Program.

The discussion was added to the council's agenda for its weekly meeting on urban economic development by District 2 Councilor Rick Westcott.

The Oklahoma Main Street Program assists communities in revitalizing and restructuring their business districts, usually a community's downtown area.
