Article: Protestors, supporters turn out for Halliburton shareholders meeting in Oklahoma town

Darth Vader, Mr. Monopoly and Lady Liberty were just a few of the rogue's gallery of protestors who turned out in opposition to the Halliburton Co. shareholders meeting on Wednesday.

The costumed characters were among about 100 protestors from around the nation - and the world - gathered on the lawn in front of the Simmons Center for a peaceful protest, although police made 17 arrests for vandalism and trespassing.

One man was accused of vandalism for tearing up a plastic fence holding back protesters, and the rest were accused of trespassing as they left an enclosure and headed toward the meeting, according to The Associated Press.
